Legacy Adult Director
Charlie was born in Miami, FL and spent most of his childhood in South Florida.
After accepting Christ in 1975, he has been involved in some form of Christian service. Starting as a worship leader and roadie for an evangelistic team in South Carolina as well as ministering in local prisons and on radio and tv, as well as Youth Pastor. Upon completing his education, he later took his first Senior Pastor position at the young age of 28 where I served for 4 years and later planted and served as Senior Pastor of a multi-cultural church in Seneca, SC for over 18 years. Foreign missions were always a part of his passion, preaching the gospel in such countries as Haiti, Russia, Ukraine, Finland, and the regions of the backwoods of Upstate South Carolina.
WHAT'S CHARLIE'S FAVORITE THING ABOUT CENTRAL?
My favorite thing about Central is all the wonderful people both young and old, who continue to amaze me with their love for God, each other, and their surrounding communities.
I loved to go mountain hiking in the Blue Ridge mountains of North and South Carolina as well as river rafting down the Cat 5 rapids of the Chattooga River where the movie “Deliverance” was filmed.
I love the ocean, i.e., fishing, swimming, or just long walks on the beach.
I do still dabble a bit on occasion, with playing guitar and singing to the Lord.
